CentOS 4.6 install DELL 6GB SAS HBA card

由網頁查出 DELL SAS HBA card 是用 LSI chipset。

解壓縮後將 [your path]\mpt2sas2btm_rhel4_rel\rpms-1\mpt2sasbtm-09.00.00.00-1-rhel4.x86_64.rpm 上傳到 CentOS 4.6。

以 rpm -i mpt2sasbtm-09.00.00.00-1-rhel4.x86_64.rpm 進行安裝。

安裝後的檔案在 /lib/modules/<KERNEL VERSION>/weak-updates/mpt2sas/mpt2sasbtm.ko。

以 insmod /lib/modules/<KERNEL VERSION>/weak-updates/mpt2sas/mpt2sasbtm.ko 新增 module。

理論上用 fdisk -l 應該就可以看到 SAS HBA card 後面接的 DELL MD3200 storage了 。

如果 insmod 後才將 storage LUN mapping to HBA card，可以用 rmmod mpt2sasbtm 先移除 module，
再用 insmod /lib/modules/<KERNEL VERSION>/weak-updates/mpt2sas/mpt2sasbtm.ko 就可以了。
